Mjr. Dr. Monika Porwisz began her service in Police in 2000 as an officer of the Warsaw II District Police Headquarters. She has been associated with the Police Academy in Szczytno since 2004. From 1 September, 2018 to March 6, 2019, she held the position of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Applied Police Sciences at the Police Academy in Szczytno. In 2019, she served as the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Security and Legal Sciences at the Police Academy in Szczytno.
Mjr. Dr. Monika Porwisz is a doctor of law by education, specializing in criminal procedural law, juvenile delinquency proceedings and investigation tactics. She is the author and co-author of over 80 scientific publications and practical studies in the field of criminal procedural law, investigative tactics and powers of internal security authorities, as well as a series of articles in monographs prepared in the field of law of petty offences. She has published her works in many prestigious publishing houses and magazines.
In 2017, she was awarded the bronze badge of Merit, and in 2020 - the silver medal “For Long Service”.
